How to install solar panel on Metal Roof Sheet
Metal Roof is one of the common roofs in life. It is commonly used in relatively large buildings such as factories and warehouses. This roof is also applied in family houses. How to install solar components safely on this roof is one of the important issues of photovoltaic support installation.
Metal Roof Sheet can be divided into Trapezoidal Root Sheet, Corrugated ROOF Sheet, Standing Seam ROOF Sheet, etc. We can adopt different solar bracket solutions according to its roof shape. Different shape installation methods are similar. Sometimes the same installation method is also suitable for different shapes of ROOF Sheet. 1. Trapezoidal ROOF Sheet
This roof can usually be connected to the metal roof with L feet. In order to prevent the waterproof, the EPDM rubber pads are needed to prevent water leakage. Sometimes in order to increase the distance between solar panel and roofs, we use the combination of L foot and Hanger Bolt to increase the height of the bracket to more effectively improve the heat dissipation of the component. The advantage of this installation method is that L feet can be more firmly connected to the purlins. It is suitable for areas with relatively large wind speeds. The scheme is as follows:

In areas with relatively small wind speed (usually less than 25m/s), we can adopt simple and easy ways to install solar components. Generally, ROOF Attachments and Mini Rail, U Channel Clamp, etc.
As shown in the figure below, by making ROOF Attachments with the shape of TRAPEZOIDAL ROOF Sheet to connect roof sheet and components. Of course, this method must also consider waterproofing problems. It also combines rubber pads and ROOF Attachment.

MINI RAIL and U Channel CLAMP installation method is a more common and simple way to install solar panels. MINI RAIL and U Channel CLAMP will have a predetermined hole to be installed quickly. The installation method of Corrugated ROOF Sheet is basically similar to the TRAPEZOIDAL ROOF Sheet. In a relatively large wind speed areas, we can use L Feet, L Feet +Hanger Bolt to achieve installation.
